“El Dorado Lake is located 1/2 mile from El Dorado, Kansas on the edge of the scenic Flint Hills. The lake has 98 miles of shoreline and covers 12.5 miles (8,000 acres). It is surrounded by the largest state park in Kansas with 4,000 acres and 1,100 campsites spread out amoung 4 seperate locations. It is also known for its incredible sunsets, as depicted in this painting.“
